The case involves the late Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, a photographer who passed away in 2025 at age 82, and his son, who was found in a vehicle near Independence Hall with a woman’s identification.
Investigators uncovered more than 1 million digital files, including footage showing women unconscious, injured, or deceased. Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore stated that 58 individuals were identified in the recovered material, with four appearing lifeless or unconscious and 10 others later dying of suspected drug overdoses. Despite this, no bodies have been recovered from the property.

The investigation began after a federal park ranger encountered an illegally parked car containing Eugene Horsch, Raymond’s son, along with a woman whose ID matched Blaire Tonzelli, who had been missing since 2023. The search of the home revealed firearms, counterfeit law enforcement credentials, drugs, and other suspicious items. Digital evidence continues to be analyzed, with only 30% reviewed so far.
