The elimination of 19 Khawarij terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not just another military success; it is a powerful reminder of Pakistan’s resilience against India’s proxy war. These terrorists, trained, funded, and supported by New Delhi, have long operated as pawns in a dangerous game meant to destabilize Pakistan from within. Every time our armed forces strike at these Khawarij networks, they strike directly at India’s covert ambitions.
According to ISPR, the recent operations in Mohmand, North Waziristan, and Bannu wiped out hideouts linked to these Indian-backed terrorists. In Mohmand’s Goluno area alone, 14 militants were killed in fierce fighting, while another four were eliminated in North Waziristan’s Datta Khel, and one more was neutralized in Bannu. Arms and explosives recovered from their possession prove that these groups were not mere bandits, they were trained killers with the sole aim of spreading chaos in Pakistan.
It is no secret that India has used terrorism as state policy against Pakistan. The Khawarij, hiding behind religious slogans, are nothing more than mercenaries on India’s payroll. Their so-called leaders have repeatedly been found taking shelter in Afghanistan with Indian blessings. Evidence presented to the world shows Indian intelligence funding networks like FAK (Fazlullah-aligned Khawarij), supplying money and modern weaponry, and directing them to target Pakistan’s soldiers, schools, and innocent civilians.
India’s aim is clear: to damage Pakistan’s stability, delay projects like CPEC, and create fear among the people. These Khawarij are India’s “proxy warriors,” unleashed to do what Indian forces cannot achieve openly. Just as India armed separatists in East Pakistan in 1971, today it is sponsoring Khawarij to wage a dirty war in our tribal districts.
The Khawarij are not just enemies of Pakistan, they are enemies of Islam itself. Our religion condemns the killing of innocents, yet these terrorists bomb markets, attack mosques, and assassinate teachers. They misuse religion to brainwash youth, but their actions expose them as nothing but killers. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned about the rise of Khawarij, describing them as people who would leave the religion as quickly as an arrow leaves the bow.
The Khawarij in Pakistan today fit that description perfectly. They have no ideology except violence. They are neither protectors of faith nor fighters of freedom; they are hired guns, spilling blood for Indian money.
The success of the recent operations shows once again the unmatched professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces. Despite limited resources and continuous Indian propaganda, our soldiers stand firm in mountains, deserts, and villages to defend the motherland. In Mohmand, North Waziristan, and Bannu, they hunted down the terrorists with precision, ensuring minimal civilian harm. The sanitisation operations underway are proof that Pakistan leaves no safe haven for terrorists.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif rightly praised the courage of our troops. But beyond official statements, the real tribute comes from ordinary Pakistanis who can sleep peacefully because of the sacrifices made by our security forces. Thousands of our soldiers have embraced martyrdom in the war against terror, and every new victory ensures that their blood was not shed in vain.
Pakistan’s struggle is not limited to eliminating militants in firefights. The country is also engaged in a hybrid war, where India uses disinformation, fake propaganda, and media campaigns to malign Pakistan. Alongside bombs and guns, India’s proxies attempt to weaken Pakistan through psychological warfare. FAK networks are supported not just with weapons but with propaganda that tries to confuse and mislead people.
This is why the nation must remain united. Political parties, media, and civil society should speak with one voice against the Khawarij and their Indian masters. Divisions only help the enemy. Our greatest strength lies in our unity, just as it did when Pakistan defeated terrorism during operations like Zarb-e-Azb and Radd-ul-Fasaad.
The world must also recognize that Pakistan has sacrificed more than any other country in fighting terrorism. Over 80,000 Pakistanis have lost their lives, and the economic cost has crossed $150 billion. Yet, instead of acknowledging our sacrifices, India continues to accuse Pakistan and play the victim card. The truth is that India is the aggressor, exporting terrorism across the border while Pakistan bleeds in the fight to protect not only itself but also the region from extremist chaos.
Pakistan’s commitment to defeating terrorism is unshakable. From Karachi to Khyber, every operation proves that no terrorist will be allowed to undermine our progress. India may think that by funding groups like FAK it can derail CPEC or weaken Pakistan’s resolve, but the opposite is true. Each victory in KP strengthens the nation’s confidence and sends a message to India: Pakistan will never surrender.
The elimination of 19 Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a reminder that the fight continues, but so does Pakistan’s strength. India’s proxies will find no safe haven in this land. Their backers in New Delhi will fail, just as they failed in the past. The Khawarij dream of chaos, but Pakistan dreams of peace, prosperity, and progress. And in this battle, Pakistan will prevail.
Pakistan’s armed forces, with the support of the people, have drawn a line in the sand: there will be no compromise with the enemies of Pakistan, whether they sit in Delhi or hide in caves in the tribal areas. The message is loud and clear, Pakistan will crush the Khawarij, expose India’s proxy war, and march forward with pride and determination.
