One of the biggest overseas gatherings of people of Pakistan to celebrate its Independence Day will take place in Dubai as more than 60,000 people are expected to attend the Independence Day celebrations that take place under the title of the Emirates Loves Pakistan at the Dubai Exhibition Center in the Expo City. The event is Pakistan 78th Independence Day and the celebration of strong friendship and cooperation connection between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE which through its official news agency WAM highlighted that the celebrations will be attended by one of its ministers; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and also by the Pakistan Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi. The high attendance in the high echelons of Emirati and Pakistani officials, diplomats, economic representatives, members of prominent Pakistani community indicate that the occasion is important. The event, organized by the Emirates Loves Pakistan platform together with the Pakistan Association Dubai with the support of Dubai Police is aimed at demonstrating the rich culture of Pakistan in the Emirates.
