POLICY WIRE — London, UK — Bonnie Wright, the actress best known for portraying Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, has announced the birth of her second child with husband Andrew Lococo.
The 35-year-old shared the happy news with her 3.7 million Instagram followers on Saturday. She revealed that their new baby boy, named Aster Sky Wright Lococo, was born at home on September 28.
Wright explained that the name was inspired by the star-shaped flower. She expressed her gratitude to the universe for her growing family, noting that the newborn has already been showered with affection by his older brother, Elio.
The announcement featured several intimate photos, including one of the infant sleeping in a striped onesie and another of Wright resting with her son. Since her time as Harry Potter’s love interest, she has pursued independent film projects, stage work, and environmental activism with organizations like Greenpeace and the Rainforest Alliance.
