Russia Issues Stark Warning to UK Over Drone Supplies to Ukraine

POLICY WIRE — Moscow, Russia — Russia has issued a stern warning to the United Kingdom over its decision to supply drones to Ukraine. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that such actions could exacerbate tensions and lead to further escalation in the conflict.

“The United Kingdom’s decision to provide drones to Ukraine is a provocative move that undermines regional stability,” said a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry. “We urge the UK to reconsider its position to avoid unintended consequences.”

In response, a Ministry of Defence (MoD) spokesperson affirmed the UK’s commitment to supporting Ukraine. “Britain stands shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine in its fight for sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the spokesperson said. “Our support, including the provision of drones, is aimed at helping Ukraine defend itself against aggression.”
