The incident occurred early Sunday morning in Vienna, with sheriff’s deputies hearing gunshots around 1:25 a.m. while on patrol, as reported by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
When officers arrived at the scene on Pine Street, they found multiple victims who had been struck by gunfire. The injured were transported to various hospitals in the area. Two of the deceased were discovered several blocks away from the initial location of the shooting, though no further details about their circumstances were released.
