Trump Holds Iowa and Kansas Rallies Two Days Before 2026 Midterms
Donald Trump rallies in Iowa and Kansas two days before the 2026 midterms as Republicans and Democrats make a final push to sway voters nationwide.
POLICY WIRE — Washington, D.C., USA — President Donald Trump has returned to the campaign trail, holding rallies in Iowa and Kansas with just two days left before the November 2026 midterm elections.
The events take place in the Republican‑leaning Farm Belt, where GOP strategists are working to retain control of Congress and overturn the typical midterm loss pattern for the party in power.
Earlier in the week, Trump and Rep. Mike Vance scrapped scheduled appearances in three additional states, scaling back in‑person outreach as the election deadline looms.
With the clock ticking, candidates in pivotal Senate and House contests are delivering their closing arguments, and both major parties are intensifying outreach to undecided voters.
