The manipulated image, part of a series posted by the president, shows the 83-year-old actor holding a red shirt emblazoned with the words: ‘TRUMP IS MY PRESIDENT.’

Trump captioned the post, ‘Even this jerk is beginning to get it,’ implying a change in De Niro’s stance towards him.

De Niro, known for his roles in films like Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, and Raging Bull, has been a consistent and harsh critic of Trump. In 2016, he referred to Trump as a ‘pig,’ a ‘punk,’ and a ‘bulls*** artist’ before the presidential election.
