Trump Announces Super PAC Will Fund Controversial Ads with Personal Money
Trump confirms his super PAC will pay for ads using funds raised by MAGA, Inc., after backlash over taxpayer money.
POLICY WIRE — Washington, D.C. — President Donald Trump announced Monday that his super PAC will begin covering the cost of pro-Trump advertisements, which have recently dominated media channels, using funds from his own campaign organization rather than public money.
The move comes after criticism from opponents who accused the administration of using taxpayer funds to support the ads. Trump stated on Truth Social that he is taking responsibility for the advertising, saying it promotes the United States and should be funded through private donations rather than government resources.

“The Radical Left is upset with the fact that I am taking Ads, which I consider to be a positive promotion for our Great U.S.A., and paying for them with U.S.A. money,” he wrote. “This is a rather standard thing to do but, rather than doing that, although nothing will make them happy, I have decided to do the Patriotic Ads, among others, and pay for them myself, and with money I raised for MAGA, Inc.”
