Aaryan Aggarwal appeared in Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, facing charges related to an offensive message sent via Instagram. The court was told that Carter received the communication on July 17 of the previous year.

The teenager reportedly used a racial slur in the message, which also included derogatory comments about the footballer. He has since pleaded not guilty to the charge of sending an offensive, indecent, or menacing message over a public network.
