The bodies were discovered over the past two months in Kempton Park, sparking widespread fear and outrage. Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the killing of Jabulile Ntimba, the ninth victim, whose body was found on September 17. Her remains were located on the roadside, partially dressed, similar to other victims.

Deputy Police Chief Tebello Mosikili stated that there is an indication her death may have been related to a romantic conflict. Police have now detained four people in connection with the Kempton Park killings.
