Line judge Jeff Seeman received a two-game suspension, while referee Adrian Hill was given a one-game penalty. Both were disciplined by the league’s vice president of officiating, Ramon George, for instances of “unprofessional conduct toward a player,” according to an official statement.

During a Sunday matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants, a sideline camera captured Seeman using offensive language toward tight end Trey McBride. Meanwhile, in a Vikings-Dolphins game, referee Adrian Hill became involved in a heated exchange after being knocked over by a player. Both officials have been with the league for over a decade, with Seeman starting in 2002 and Hill in 2010.
