The co-pilot of the Tel Aviv-bound flight reportedly stabbed the pilot, allowing passengers to enter the cockpit and subdue the attacker. The plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia without any fatalities. Netanyahu previously suggested the pilot may have been from Oman and left open the possibility of mental health issues, but has not confirmed the origin or motive of the assailant.
