The reshuffle included 10 ministerial and deputy ministerial appointments, along with eight senior officials from agencies and the police force. All 18 individuals were sworn in at the presidential palace in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon.
Arrmanatha emphasized that Indonesia remains committed to its bid for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council for the 2029–2030 term, calling it a demonstration of the country’s dedication to multilateralism and global stability.
Prabowo also replaced the head of the national police force, with Suyudi Ario Seto taking over from Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who was appointed to the Executive Office of the President. The changes come just weeks after the president dismissed former finance minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa and appointed Suahasil Nazara as his successor.
