POLICY WIRE — Hong Kong — Cathay Pacific Airways, Hong Kong’s flag carrier, has announced a 71% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching HK$6.24 billion (US$802 million) for the first half of 2026. The surge is attributed to heightened demand.
