POLICY WIRE — Seattle, United States — New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown suffered a right ankle injury during his debut game against the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday night, forcing him to leave the game and not return.
The injury occurred early in the third quarter when Brown attempted to catch a pass from quarterback Drake Maye. As he fell to the turf, Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett’s knee made contact with Brown’s ankle, leading to the injury. The Patriots later ruled Brown out for the remainder of the game.
