Karoline Leavitt Demands Police Action After New Hampshire Polling Place Assault
Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt calls for New Hampshire police intervention after an 18-year-old was assaulted at the polls.
POLICY WIRE — New Hampshire, USA — Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has called on local authorities to intervene following a physical confrontation recorded at a voting site on Election Day.
Leavitt shared video on the platform X on Tuesday that captures a heated exchange between an 18-year-old male and an older individual outside a New Hampshire polling location.
The footage shows the verbal argument escalating until the older man directs an offensive gesture toward the younger man before slapping him across the face and fleeing the scene.
The clip was initially circulated by the conservative group Turning Point Action, which claimed the teenager was assaulted for standing his ground at the polls.
In her post, the New Hampshire native Leavitt characterized the incident as despicable behavior from the left. She expressed confidence that state law enforcement would address the matter immediately.
Leavitt noted that the young man representing Turning Point Action remained calm while making points before being attacked by what she labeled a left-wing nut job.
While the identities of the participants and the exact location of the dispute remain unconfirmed, the video begins with the men arguing under a tent near a parking area.
In the recording, the older man challenged the teenager’s knowledge, questioning his right to speak. The 18-year-old retorted that the man had failed to provide any statistics.
The older man interrupted, expressing disbelief at the youth’s assertion. After the teenager flashed him a middle finger, the older man struck him, shouted a profanity, and walked away as a witness off-camera was heard telling someone to call the police.
The altercation occurred as millions of voters cast ballots in midterm elections, which will decide the partisan makeup of Congress for the next two years.
Data indicates the GOP may face significant setbacks due to public dissatisfaction regarding the cost of living and involvement in Iran.
A White House official expressed a sense of cautious optimism, stating the President had done everything necessary and that Republicans are in a stronger position than they were a month prior.
