Man claims “I am the baddest” before London-bound train stabbing, court hears
Court hearing reveals a suspect boasted "I am the baddest" on a prior train before stabbing ten passengers on a London-bound service from Peterborough.
POLICY WIRE — London, United Kingdom — A man accused of stabbing ten people on a train bound for London from Peterborough told a court he had declared himself “the baddest” on a separate service the day before the attack.
The defendant allegedly paced the carriage of another train, repeating the boast that no one was as bad as him, according to testimony presented in the hearing.
During the assault, a crew member named Samir Zitouni attempted to intervene with a frying pan, only to be stabbed multiple times while trying to stop the attacker.
Witnesses, including passenger Ethan Daniels, reported hearing the suspect’s threat prior to the violence that unfolded on the train.
