Harry Styles Recreates Iconic 2010 X Factor Audition Look for NYC Residency Finale
Harry Styles channeled his 2010 X Factor self and Elvis Presley during his Madison Square Garden residency, featuring partner Zoe Kravitz in the audience.
POLICY WIRE — New York, United States — Harry Styles concluded the penultimate night of his current Madison Square Garden run by revisiting a formative chapter of his career.
The 32-year-old singer dressed as his 16-year-old self from the 2010 The X Factor audition to mark the Halloween-themed special.
This performance served as the first of two concluding shows for his 30-night residency at the New York venue.
For this nostalgic tribute, Styles wore a grey cardigan over a white T-shirt, accessorized with a yellow scarf, brown khakis, and a pinned audition number.
He performed Stevie Wonder’s is not She Lovely, the very song that advanced him to the next round of his original competition.
During the set, the Worcestershire-born artist reminded the crowd of his part-time teenage job by stating, I work in a bakery.
Earlier in the evening, Styles adopted the persona of Elvis Presley, wearing a white sequinned jumpsuit paired with a satin-lined blue cape and gold sunglasses.
His live band and dance team embraced the spooky theme by dressing as different versions of Styles from throughout his artistic evolution.
Actress Riley Keough, who is also Presley’s granddaughter, was spotted in the audience alongside Styles’ partner, Zoe Kravitz.
Kravitz, dressed in an all-red ensemble with devil horns, was seen dancing and singing along to the music.
The actress and model, daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, has been linked romantically to Styles since August 2025.
Recent sightings of the couple have fueled speculation about a potential engagement.
In a June interview with British Vogue, Kravitz acknowledged the intense public scrutiny of their relationship, describing the attention as overwhelming.
Styles first achieved international stardom as a member of One Direction, a group formed on the ITV singing competition alongside Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik.
The quintet secured four UK number-one singles and four number-one albums, known for hits like “Story Of My Life” and What Makes You Beautiful.
The group went on hiatus in 2016, approximately one year after Malik departed.
Following his residency, Styles will continue his Together, Together world tour with upcoming dates in Australia scheduled for the end of the year.
He is set to return to the stage in April for a series of shows across the United States and Canada.
The tour itinerary will later extend to Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Rome, and Dublin during the summer months.
