POLICY WIRE — Washington, D.C. — A top White House adviser to four U.S. presidents has revealed that President Joe Biden was considering severe actions against Israel following an Israeli drone strike that killed seven World Central Kitchen aid workers in Gaza in April 2024.
Brett McGurk, who served as a senior Middle East advisor, told CBS News that Biden was frustrated with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s handling of the war and was contemplating cutting off military aid to Israel.
