POLICY WIRE — Atlanta, United States — Ed Sheeran will be joined by an undisclosed special guest during his concert tonight at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, following the withdrawal of all scheduled support acts from his U.S. tour.

The absence of support acts comes after several artists, including Aaron Rowe and Finneas, left the tour in solidarity with rapper Macklemore, who was removed last month due to his pro-Palestine remarks during a performance in New Jersey. Sheeran had previously declined to engage in public discussions about the Israel-Gaza conflict, stating he was “not complicit” but also facing criticism for his stance.
