The incident took place in June 2023 when Malcolm Potier, a former Scottish Laird, became involved in a confrontation with Kirsty O’Donnell after she began singing along during the show. He reportedly grabbed her by the neck, leading to his arrest and subsequent conviction for non-fatal strangulation.
