POLICY WIRE — America, USA — Walmart is broadening its restaurant delivery capabilities through a new strategic partnership with Dunkin’, enabling shoppers to add coffee and breakfast items to their grocery orders.
The initiative begins with the 150 Dunkin’ outlets currently situated within Walmart stores across the country.
Company officials stated that the service will eventually scale to include the majority of Dunkin’s nearly 10,000 U.S. locations, including those not located inside Walmart facilities.
This allows consumers to bundle their favorite beverages and meals with household necessities and grocery staples in a single transaction.
Eligible users can access the service via the Restaurants tab on the Walmart website or mobile application, where they can customize their orders based on their delivery address.
This move follows a similar rollout this past summer involving Subway, which allowed for express delivery from select in-store eateries.
The Subway integration began in specific states with the objective of covering all nearly 1,400 Walmart locations featuring Subway restaurants by the end of July.
Walmart is leveraging its massive physical footprint to drive this growth, noting that roughly 90 percent of the U.S. population resides within 10 miles of one of its stores.
Greg Cathey, Walmart’s senior vice president of eCommerce Fulfillment Transformation, noted that the company aims to simplify customer lives by meeting them wherever they are.
Cathey stated, “By expanding restaurant delivery beyond our stores, we are offering a value and convenience proposition that is unmatched.”

Scott Murphy, the Brand President of Dunkin’ and Chief Brand Officer for Inspire, said the collaboration provides an additional channel for customers to access their products.
Our goal is simple: make it even easier for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ whenever and wherever they want it, Murphy said.
He added, By bringing Dunkin’ into the Walmart shopping experience, we’re creating another convenient way for guests to get their favorite beverages and meals at the speed of Dunkin’.
Murphy further explained, “By combining the strength of Walmart’s delivery platform with the appeal of our Dunkin’ menu, we can reach more guests in more moments, creating an experience that fits naturally into everyday life.”
Dunkin’, a member of the Inspire Brands portfolio, maintains over 14,200 locations across nearly 40 different global markets.
Walmart, which operates more than 10,900 stores globally, reported revenue of $713 billion for fiscal 2026.
