Three Dead in Russian Strikes on Kharkiv as Kyiv Targets Online Retailer

POLICY WIRE — Kharkiv, Ukraine — Three civilians were killed and several injured in Russian strikes on Kharkiv early this morning, local authorities confirmed. The attack, which targeted residential areas, marks a grim escalation in the ongoing conflict.

In response, Ukrainian forces launched drone attacks on a logistics hub belonging to online retailer Ozon. This follows a series of similar strikes on Wildberries, another major online retailer. The attack resulted in a fire at the facility, though no casualties have been reported.

The strikes come amid heightened tensions between the two nations, with both sides accusing each other of targeting civilian infrastructure. Ukrainian officials have vowed to continue retaliating against what they describe as Russian aggression.
