The early payments are set to occur due to the upcoming bank holiday. The DWP has provided the following schedule for the advanced payments:
Universal Credit: Payments will be made on April 24 instead of the usual payment date around April 28.
PIP: Recipients will receive their payments on April 24, earlier than the typical payment date around April 28.
State Pension: Pensioners will be paid on April 24, ahead of the usual payment date around April 28.
Sir Stephen Timms stated, “We understand the importance of these payments and want to ensure that beneficiaries have timely access to their funds, especially given the upcoming holiday.” The DWP advises recipients to check their payment dates and banking details to avoid any discrepancies.
