POLICY WIRE — London, UK — A bus driver was fatally shot outside The Prince of Wales pub in Clapham, South London, early this morning. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Metropolitan Police have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of murder. The suspect attended a hospital with a gunshot wound prior to his arrest. He remains in police custody.

Authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the motive or circumstances leading to the shooting. The area around the pub has been cordoned off as forensic teams conduct investigations.
