Arbaoui approached the woman, offering her a tissue for her ‘dirty’ trousers, before swiftly grabbing her luggage and fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred as the victim was disembarking from a Eurostar train. Arbaoui was later identified — and arrested by the authorities. The stolen suitcase, which contained a substantial amount of cash, hasn’t yet been recovered.
