17-Year-Old Arrested Following Fatal Police Pursuit Crash in Bristol
A 17-year-old is in custody after a fatal collision on Bristol's A37 Wells Road. A teenage passenger died following a police pursuit involving two vehicles.
POLICY WIRE — Bristol, United Kingdom — A 17-year-old boy has been taken into custody following a fatal vehicle collision that occurred early Sunday morning after a brief police pursuit.
The incident took place shortly after 4 a.m. on October 25 along the A37 Wells Road. Authorities confirmed that a teenage passenger lost his life at the scene of the crash.
The collision involved a white Nissan Juke and a black Audi S3. In addition to the fatality, three other individuals sustained injuries during the wreck.
The 17-year-old suspect is currently being held by law enforcement on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the pursuit and the subsequent crash remain ongoing.
