President Rashad al-Alimi reportedly raised the matter with former President Donald Trump during a recent call, according to Abdullah Al-Alimi Bawazir, vice president of the Yemeni Leadership Council. Bawazir stated he was unaware of any rejection of the request and emphasized that Trump recognizes the danger posed by the Houthis.
