A Washington resident is charged with conspiring with a Canadian school shooter before the deadly attack in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.
POLICY WIRE — Seattle, United States — A 30-year-old woman from Washington state has been arrested and charged by federal authorities for allegedly conspiring with an 18-year-old Canadian school shooter ahead of a deadly mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.
Federal prosecutors in Seattle revealed that James Cody Bryant, who identifies as female, communicated with the suspect for six months prior to the attack. Authorities allege that Bryant did not report the planned violence and instead supported the shooter’s efforts to carry out the attack, including providing advice on how to maximize casualties and purchase weapons.
