In addition to the school attack, the UN-backed mission identified a second strike targeting a sports center. According to the report, these two incidents collectively claimed the lives of at least 177 civilians.

The Independent Fact-Finding Mission on Iran conducted the investigation, concluding that the nature of these strikes warrants the classification of war crimes. The experts emphasized that their assessment is based on evidence gathered regarding the conduct of hostilities.
