The Tudor-style residence in Jamaica Estates, Queens, was built in 1940 by Fred Trump, the president’s father, who developed the area. The family vacated the home years ago, and it had remained vacant and in disrepair for several years before being purchased last year for $835,000.

A developer named Tommy Lin spent $500,000 over eight months to renovate the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house, adding features like a chef’s kitchen and herringbone wood flooring. The home changed hands multiple times in recent years, including a brief sale for $2.14 million shortly after Trump became president in 2017. It was later listed for $2.9 million but remained unsold until Lin acquired it. The property was also briefly rented out on Airbnb with Trump-themed decor.
