Singapore Authorities Investigate Massive Attack’s Concert Incident

POLICY WIRE — Singapore — Singapore’s police and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) have launched investigations following British trip-hop band Massive Attack’s expression of support for Palestinians during their concert on Wednesday.
“Police confirm that reports were lodged — and investigations are ongoing,” stated the police and IMDA on Thursday. “IMDA is also investigating a possible breach of licence conditions.”
During their performance at The Star Performing Arts Centre, the band shouted “Free Palestine,” prompting the authorities to take action.
