The 50-year-old artist, known publicly as Rick Ross and legally as William Leonard Roberts, was processed at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 6:10 a.m. He faces one felony charge of battery by strangulation and one misdemeanor charge of battery, both linked to domestic violence.

Ross’s legal team has denied the accusations, urging the public to avoid premature judgment as the case proceeds through the judicial system. During a Zoom appearance in bond court, Judge Mindy Glazer found probable cause for the charges and set a total bail of $5,000.
