Prop-Tech Firm Supa Secures £20M Investment to Modernize Residential Property Management
Supa lands a £20m funding round to scale its AI-native platform across over 20,000 homes, disrupting the fragmented residential property industry.
POLICY WIRE — London, United Kingdom — A residential property management firm has secured tens of millions of pounds in investment to accelerate digital transformation in a sector historically slow to adopt new technologies.
Supa, which currently oversees a portfolio of more than 20,000 homes, will utilize the new capital to expand its specialized technological solutions across the UK housing market.
The company is focused on developing the UK’s first AI-native block management platform, aiming to modernize an industry that remains highly fragmented.
In a separate development, the government has introduced a £21.8m funding package through the Housebuilding Support Fund (CHSF) to bolster the creation of affordable housing.
This initiative, part of the Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP), is specifically designed to assist local authorities and councils by providing the opportunity to apply for revenue-based grants.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) confirmed that the bidding process for these funds opened today and will remain active until March 2029.
Officials anticipate that this public investment will stimulate up to £30m in matching funding from the private sector, combined mayoral authorities, and local councils.
