POLICY WIRE — Philadelphia, United States — A content creator has been charged with harassment after allegedly throwing a cheesesteak at a manager at Pat’s King of Steaks in South Philadelphia, according to local police.
The incident occurred when the man returned to the famous cheesesteak shop about 10 minutes after ordering, reportedly opening the sandwich and expressing dissatisfaction. Surveillance footage captured the confrontation, which escalated when the customer threw the food at the general manager, Tom Francano.

Francano, who has worked at Pat’s for nearly 47 years, said he believed the customer was attempting to generate online attention. The suspect, who turned himself in Thursday, claimed he reviews restaurants and throws food at staff if he is displeased, as reported by local media. Pat’s owner Frank Olivieri offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the man’s arrest.
