POLICY WIRE — City, Country — A mass shooting in northwest Pennsylvania claimed the lives of multiple family members of the suspect, including his wife, a pregnant daughter due to give birth on Monday, and two young children.
Authorities identified the victims as Michelle Stone, 44, the shooter’s wife; Angelina K. Stone, 24, who was expecting a child; and their sons Matthew Stone Jr., 21, and Jonathan Stone, 19. The coroner also confirmed the deaths of two other children, a 5-year-old boy and a nearly 2-year-old girl, who were related to the shooter and found inside the home.
Residents Twila A. Tanner, 51, and Lora Lee Roberts, 37, were neighbors who were fatally shot outside the house. The father of one of the children, Juicesiyah Alexander Ezekiel, expressed disbelief at the tragedy, calling the act ‘sickening’ and stating he could not imagine such violence even toward his worst enemy. The young girl, named Amari’anna, was set to turn 2 next month.
