The strikes, which occurred in both Helmand and Kunar provinces, resulted in the deaths of 10 civilians, as reported by the Taliban’s deputy spokesman, Hamdullah Fitrat. Pakistan confirmed the operation, stating it targeted militant camps but did not specify locations.

Afghan residents described the devastation, with one villager from Safar village reporting four fatalities and seven injuries. Another survivor, Qudrat Ullah, said his neighbor’s home was destroyed, leaving the area in ruins. He claimed no military presence was near the site, only civilians. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s information ministry stated that 22 militants were killed and weapons were destroyed in the strikes.
