Missing Utah Teen Kylie Arellano Located Safe in Oregon After 500-Day Search
Garden City teen Kylie Arellano was found safe in Oregon after missing for 500 days. A 39-year-old man was arrested following her recovery.
POLICY WIRE — Garden City, Utah — A massive nationwide search for a missing Utah teenager has come to a hopeful conclusion after Kylie Arellano was discovered safe in the state of Oregon.
Arellano, now 17 years old, had been missing for more than 500 days. Her disappearance originally caused widespread alarm when she was 15 years old.
The teenager was last seen by her family members at their residence in Garden City on May 29, 2025. Since her time, the FBI and local law enforcement had conducted extensive efforts to locate her.
Authorities confirmed that the girl was found in Oregon in the company of a 39-year-old man. The individual was taken into custody following the discovery.
The recovery of the teenager brings significant relief to her family and the local community which followed the case for over year and a half.
