Lawrence Robb Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2026 After Halloween Week Elimination Twist
Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal are the fifth couple to exit Strictly Come Dancing after a tense three-way dance-off during Halloween Week.
POLICY WIRE — London, UK — The 2026 season of Strictly Come Dancing has lost its fifth contestant following a high-stakes Halloween Week episode and an unexpected twist during the latest results broadcast.
In a departure from the standard format for the October 31 episode, production announced that three couples would face elimination in the Sunday dance-off rather than the usual two.
The pairings of Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal, Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu all landed in the bottom three and were required to perform their routines again to stay in the competition.
Antonia and Xu delivered a Jive performed to “I’m in Love with a Monster” by Fifth Harmony, while Winstone and Gu revisited their Salsa set to “Filthy/Gorgeous” by the Scissor Sisters.
Ultimately, the judges reached a unanimous decision to send home Robb and Przystal after the pair performed a Tango to the “Ghostbusters” theme music by Ray Parker Jr.
Motsi Mobusi, who held the final deciding vote for the evening, confirmed she would have also chosen to eliminate Robb and Przystal from the show.
The eliminated duo is scheduled to appear on the spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two this Monday at 6.30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer to reflect on their tournament journey.
The themed episode also featured a spooky group performance by the Professionals set to “Dracula” by Tame Impala, which included a vocal contribution from Sir Ian McKellen reading from Bram Stoker’s classic novel.
Earlier in the night, Becky Hill competed alongside professional dancers Aleksandra Isaeva and Cristian Priori, while John Nellis and Katya Jones earned a personal-high score for a passionate Tango.
Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington also received praise for a “sensational” Viennese Waltz, but Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola claimed the top of the leaderboard with an energy-filled Charleston.
The remaining ten couples will return to the dancefloor on Saturday, November 7, at 6.30pm.
