POLICY WIRE — City, Country — Hurricane Isaias has transitioned into a post-tropical cyclone after making landfall on the Florida Panhandle as a Category 2 storm.
The National Hurricane Center reported that the system weakened overnight, with maximum sustained winds dropping to 65 mph. It was moving northward over southern Alabama at 20 mph, according to an early morning update.
