POLICY WIRE — City, Country — Joshua Bonehill-Paine, a former neo-Nazi activist with convictions including harassing a Jewish MP, has been selected as a Conservative candidate for the upcoming Somerset council election. Bonehill-Paine, known for creating the Crewkerne Gazette series of AI clips, will stand for election in the new Crewkerne South district. He confirmed to the Guardian that he’s an executive member of the Tories’ Yeovil branch and works as an events organizer. The selection has raised eyebrows given his past activities — and convictions. Reporting by Policy-Wire (PW)
