Operations like Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan stand as testaments to the military’s resolve. Launched in 2014, this large-scale military offensive significantly dismantled terrorist safe havens, while disrupting their networks. The sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers during anti-terrorism operations deserve the nation’s highest respect.

Pakistan recently suffered a blow to its security forces, losing seven troops, including two officers, in a terrorist attack on an FC checkpoint in the dangerous tribal province of North Waziristan. Six terrorists carried out numerous suicide assaults in the Mir Ali region, close to the Afghan border. The brave soldiers not only confronted the assailants but valiantly battled all six terrorists. At the end of this showdown, Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali and Captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar, along with five soldiers got martyred in the heavy combat.
