New Delhi Lights Up Central Park with Pollution‑Free Drone Show for Diwali

POLICY WIRE — New Delhi, India — New Delhi’s Central Park lights up with a vibrant drone display this Diwali, offering a pollution‑free alternative to fireworks as crowds gather.

The city’s tourism department organized the event, drawing thousands of residents and visitors eager to experience the spectacle without the traditional firework haze.

Officials say the drone show is part of a broader effort to cut air pollution during the festival season, which typically sees elevated smoke and particulate matter levels.
