POLICY WIRE — Giza, Egypt — A coordinated cyber offensive placed explicit pornographic material on digital billboards across several nations, with the group LeakersGov announcing responsibility on Telegram and describing the exploit as trivially easy.

The intrusion affected public screens in Egypt, Malaysia, Brazil, Iraq and China, including highway billboards and LED panels that normally broadcast advertising.

LeakersGov members boasted that the hack could be pulled off by anyone with two brain cells, underscoring glaring vulnerabilities in outdoor digital signage infrastructure.
