MAHA Loyalists Accuse Trump Administration of Breaking Promises
MAHA loyalists claim Trump administration failed on key promises, sparking internal conflict and criticism from movement leaders.
POLICY WIRE — Washington, D.C. — A growing number of supporters of the “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) movement are criticizing Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Trump administration for failing to deliver on core commitments, including stricter regulations on food dyes and pesticides.
A scorecard released by MAHA activists, including former members of Kennedy’s 2024 presidential campaign, claims that more than 85% of the administration’s promises to the movement have not been fulfilled. The document was created by Dave Murphy, a former Kennedy campaign fundraiser, and Charles Eisenstein, who served as his chief speechwriter.

Tiffany Cianci, a former Kennedy campaign adviser and MAHA advocate, said the administration has shown a blatant disregard for its commitments, adding that the movement feels betrayed. Despite widespread support for MAHA ideals—41% of U.S. adults align with its goals, according to an April KFF poll—the movement has become increasingly divided over its direction and leadership.
