Collins played Alexis Colby, the vengeful ex-wife of oil tycoon Blake Carrington, in the series from 1981 to 1989. A memorable feud between Alexis and Blake’s second wife, Krystle, included a fight scene in season three where Collins was injured during filming.

Speaking on This Morning, Collins recalled that stunt doubles were not available, so she and Evans performed the fight themselves. She said Evans struck her before the director called for a cut, causing her to hit her head on a poolside wall. She was taken to the emergency room with a minor concussion but was able to return to work later that day after a replacement double took over.
