The thieves targeted traditional orange pumpkins, leaving behind specialty varieties that had already been harvested. The family urged the public to remain vigilant and reported that suspects may be men in their 30s driving a silver four-door vehicle. Despite the loss, the farm received support from local growers and was able to participate in the event with borrowed pumpkins.
