POLICY WIRE — Tipp City, Ohio — Caleb Flynn, a former ‘American Idol’ contestant and pastor, has been handed a life sentence without the possibility of parole after being convicted of murdering his wife in a case that involved claims of a staged break-in.
Flynn, who was found guilty of nine charges including aggravated murder and three counts of murder, did not testify during his trial but maintained his innocence before the sentencing. He stated, ‘I am not lying when I say I did not kill my wife,’ as he vowed to continue fighting for his innocence.
