The events took place in restricted zones, including a demonstration near the State Courts advocating for the abolition of capital punishment and candlelight vigils held at Changi Prison to support death row inmates.

The six individuals charged include Annamalai Kokila Parvathi, Ten Leu Jiun Jeanne-Marie, Howe Wen Khong Rocky, Kirsten Han, Lim Kay Siu, and Neo Swee Lin. All but Ten were accused of attending a prohibited assembly outside the State Courts on February 3, 2025. The couple, known for their roles in the popular sitcom ‘Phua Chu Kang,’ have also appeared in other media projects, with Lim recently portraying Gyatso in Netflix’s ‘Avatar – The Last Airbender.’
